Another Face of Oud Elixir reimagines oud through an African lens. Smoky, spiritual African oud is blended with roasted cocoa from Ghanaian forests, a deep nutty praline of native shea and golden savanna honey, and the desert bloom of Sahel rose tying it all together. It is softer and sweeter than the usual reading of oud, and no less powerful for it, a gourmand where cacao and wild oud awaken the senses before a warm praline dry-down lingers like memory.
Hand-composed and finished in Accra, it carries the legacy of African storytelling: bold, grounded and proud. This is Ghana in a bottle, Africa reinterpreted, the aura of a continent reclaiming its narrative through scent.

Why I made This
I wanted to show another side of oud, the African side. So I reached for what is ours: our cacao, our shea and honey, wild oud and Sahel rose. It came out softer and sweeter, but still deep, still powerful. This one is heritage and pride made into a scent, Ghana the way I know it. Wear it, and carry that with you.

Is this a sweet or a smoky oud?
Both. It opens gourmand and chocolatey, then a real Northern oud gives it depth and a smoky-resinous drydown.
Is it too sweet for men?
No. It reads unisex; the oud and patchouli keep the sweetness in check.
Does it layer?
Beautifully. Try it over Scent of a Queen for a fruity-floral twist on the cacao.

Verified PurchaseAnother face of oud notes are (cacao, praline, sahel rose and oud ) this fragrance smells so rich and decadent almost edible, owing to the smooth blend of the chocolate, praline and oud, im not a big fan of rose scents so i was very pleased that the rose in this was barely detectable to my nose.
Also the oud in this is not the smelly animal hide type of oud these other fragrance houses be using lol- think dark, deep and sensous.This is top quality oud. I feel like the praline ties the chocolate and oud together for that burst for sweetness i perceive thats soo edible and mouth-watering.
Its no wonder every review i watch almost everyone, male and female has this fragrance in their top 5 !
I prefer spraying another face of oud on my clothes because on my skin it pulls weirdly medicinal and a bit sour but on my clothes oooooh i get all the chocolately sweet praline vibes.
It shines best on a cold weather and air conditioned environments, you could get away with wearing it during the day, just make sure the suns not out and keep the spritzes 2-3 max coz trust me you will soccer punch knock out folks if you go crazy with the sprays.
I love layering another face of oud with scent of a queen-it gives it a fruity twist and somehow mimics the “forevr mood I am her by Jackie Aina” DNA, albeit without the tart fizziness.

To achieve that tart fizzy accord i top scent of a queen layered with another face of oud with a dash of yara candy (candy has fizzy strawberry) and according to my nose that is a 80-89% spot on dupe for i am her !
As usual, The oil concentration is insane ! The projection and longevity is definitely beast mode ! This is the type of perfume where you can get away with 3-5 spritzes which will still fill a room ! Is already opulent thick and decadent it makes no sense to overspray.
FINAL VERDICT : performs well on its own, layers well with other fruity and/or floral scents and the longevity and projection is insane.
It is definitely unisex and not a polarizing scent at all, everyone loves it.
To make it more feminine layer with florals or fruity scents.
