About Maison Yusif
What makes Maison Yusif fragrances unique?
Every Maison Yusif fragrance is handcrafted in small batches in Accra, Ghana, using high-quality, ethically sourced ingredients. Each scent draws on African heritage and modern artistry — created to tell a story and be remembered long after you leave the room.
Who is behind Maison Yusif?
Maison Yusif was founded in 2017 by Yusif Meizongo Jnr., Ghana's first niche artisan perfumer and a certified olfaction trainer. The house is recognised as a pioneer of African luxury perfumery, with international honours including Best Niche Fragrance (Perfumista, France).
How do I choose the right fragrance for me?
Take our Find Your Signature scent quiz — a few quick questions that match you to the scents best suited to your taste, the occasion, and how boldly you like to wear it. Prefer to explore first? A Discovery Set lets you sample the house before choosing a full bottle.
Are your fragrances cruelty-free?
Yes. Our fragrances are never tested on animals, and we work only with ethically sourced ingredients.
Orders & Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
Prices display automatically in your local currency based on your location, and you'll check out in that currency where supported. The exact amount is always shown clearly before you pay.
How do I apply a discount code?
Enter your code in the "Coupon" or "Promo Code" field at checkout. The discount is applied to your total before payment.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
We process orders quickly, so please email shop@maisonyusif.com as soon as possible. If your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll do our best to update or cancel it.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are handled through secure, encrypted gateways. We never see or store your full card details.
Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — we ship worldwide. Shipping cost and delivery time depend on your destination and are calculated at checkout.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Within Ghana: within 48 hours.
United States: 5 –7 business days.
Rest of the world: 7 –20 business days, depending on customs and courier services.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Orders over $150 (or the equivalent in your currency) qualify for free shipping. Your progress toward it is shown in your cart.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking link by email. You can also follow it any time on our Order Tracking page.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
We're sorry if that happens. Email shop@maisonyusif.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we'll put it right.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
Unopened items can be returned within 24 hours of delivery with a valid proof of purchase. Because fragrance is personal, opened items can't be returned or refunded. Full details are in our Returns & Refund Policy.
How do I start a return?
Email shopmaisonyusif@gmail.com with your order number within 24 hours of delivery, and we'll guide you through the next steps.
Can I exchange a product if I don’t like the scent?
Because scent is a matter of personal preference, we don't offer refunds or exchanges on opened bottles. We recommend trying a Discovery Set first, so you can explore the house and find your match with confidence.
Fragrance Information
Are Maison Yusif fragrances unisex?
Many are. We create scents for everyone — some lean floral, others woody or amber — and our shop is organised into For Her, For Him and Unisex to help you choose. Ultimately, any fragrance can be worn by anyone.
How long do your perfumes last?
Our perfumes are made with premium oils for exceptional longevity. On skin, expect long wear through the day; on fabric, the scent can linger for 72 hours or more. Longevity varies by scent and skin type — each product page lists that fragrance's expected longevity and sillage.
Why does a scent smell different on me than on someone else?
Fragrance reacts with your skin's natural chemistry, so the same perfume can develop slightly differently from one person to the next. That's part of the beauty of it — a Maison Yusif scent becomes uniquely yours.
Do you offer samples?
Yes — our Discovery Sets are the best way to experience the house in miniature before committing to a full bottle.
How should I store my perfume?
Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Proper storage preserves both the scent and its longevity.

Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes. We offer luxurious gift packaging, and you can add a personalised message at checkout.
