Dé Já Vu was composed around that strange, lovely feeling of memory, the sense that a moment is somehow familiar the very first time you live it. Fresh fig, pineapple and plum open bright and warm, zesty bergamot lifts them, and a base of cedar grounds the whole thing. It unfolds like a story you already half remember, past and present quietly folding into one.
Hand-composed and finished in Accra, it is made to evoke connection and wonder, a reminder that life’s most precious moments are always closer than they seem.

I have always been fascinated by déjà vu, that flicker where something new feels like a memory you already hold. I wanted to bottle it: fig, plum and bergamot over soft cedar, warm and familiar from the first breath. This one is for reliving the moments that matter. Wear it, and let them come back to you.

Verified PurchaseDe ja vu’s notes are (fig, pineapple, plum, bergamot, and cedar) i dont know what fig and plum smells like, but i do know what pineapple and bergamot smells like and these two are in my top notes for anything fresh and citrusy.
You know how you smell like just fresh out of the shower when you bath with “rexona” lemon soap ? That is the vibe i get from this and i honestly can’t get enough of it !
There are days you’re soo over smelling like vanilla, a cup cake or a bakery and you just want to smell like you just stepped out of the shower- De ja vu should be an easy reach !
On the website its described as a succulent pineapple but on my skin i get more like a sour/tarte pineapple which i love ! The notes are so straightforwardly citrus, full stop !
On a whim I recently layered De ja vu with Baccarat 540’s oil as a night time scent and the combo was amazing ! That saffron ambegris sweet burnt sugar vibes from the baccarat contrasting with the tarte pineapple and crisp citrus from De ja vu was pure heaven, goodness i couldn’t stop smelling myself !
The oil concentration in Deja vu is insane ! The projection and longevity is definitely beast mode ! This is the type of perfume where you can get away with 3-5 spritzes which will still fill a room !
I enjoyed this the most on a cold rainy day and also it projected more in an air conditioned space, as well as at night, it’s versatile and fresh enough to be worn anytime of the day !
If you want it as a skin-scent, wear it alone
If you want to sweeten it up or amp up its other notes layer it with something else
FINAL VERDICT : performs well on its own as a fresh citrus scent, layers well with other gourmand and woody scents, longevity and projection is insane and if you love a well blended clean straight forward citrus scent, this is for you !
